The silent supercharger company just got louder


The new XB - 1A Gear driven blower.

For those looking for higher boost levels than Powerdyne's belt driven BD-10/11 you can now opt for a gear driven XB-1A and get 18 lbs of wheel burning boost. The new unit requires oil lines (their silent BD series did not) and of course you get the blower metal gear noise.

If we were running 18lbs of boost in our ride, we'd actually prefer to have that blower noise announcing our arrival at the stop light, so we don't think there will be any complaints on the noise :-) It sounds like a Vortech or other gear driven blower we were told. A shout out to Ben and the crew who we saw at the show.
